On the psychology of hat-wearing

A study published by American doctors in psychology reveals what the hat tells us about the person wearing it.

1. A correct person, who, based on a feeling of obligation or calculation, strives to avoid all confrontation, wears his hat just as correctly as he bears himself. Such men are regarded as being pleasant companions for life and loyal friends. They are no enthusiasts, but rather highly precise and prudent.

2. He who does not care about physical appearances will always wear a hat too large for him. However, men like him are regarded as men of far-reaching ideas and liberal plans.

3. A hat that is too small points to the vain and small-minded personality of its wearer.

4. People who wear their hats low on their eyes are mostly selfish or highly self-confident. They also like being mysterious, but they get far in life.

5. He who wears his hat showing his forehead is a good friend and an optimistic person. Being candid and frank, he easily gains his peers' trust.

6. A hat worn sideways testifies to its wearer's independent and self-confident spirit, always ready to stand up for his beliefs.
